Five nights, with a group of two to six guests. It's kept small on purpose.
No fixed calendar. There's no set season we advertise; dates are arranged directly with each group based on availability.
No, but you do need a genuine, reasonable level of fitness. Expect full days on foot across steep, uneven Highland ground, often in poor weather. It isn't a trip you can phone in.
Included: a Highland pony and an experienced guide to lead the stalk, rifle hire if you need it, all meals built around what you take and cooked fresh each night, accommodation in Scourie for the five nights, and taxidermy arranged and shipped to your door.
Not included: flights or travel to Scotland, and gratuities for your guide.
Rifle hire is available if you'd rather not travel with your own. Firearms rules depend on your nationality and current UK visitor permit requirements, so we'll talk you through exactly what you need once your dates are confirmed.
The stalk ends with you, but the mount doesn't have to. We arrange the taxidermy with trusted Highland specialists, see it through to completion, and ship the finished piece directly to your door, wherever in the world that is.
Near Scourie, on the far northwest coast of Sutherland, with Ben Stack, Foinaven and Arkle standing over the bay. Empty, quiet, genuinely wild ground.
It often does, this is the Scottish Highlands. The stalk goes ahead in most conditions, with the pace and route adjusted by your guide for safety.
Full waterproofs, sturdy broken-in boots, and layers for weather that can change several times in a day. See our Kit List for what we personally rate.
There's no fixed calendar and only a small number of places available. Register your interest and we'll be in touch directly as dates are confirmed.
If we haven't covered it here, tell us what you'd like to know and we'll get back to you personally.
